Alatek Inc. is a network-based design development platform for ASIC
and SoC designs and is 1/3 the price of a typical emulator.
COMULATOR(TM) is the first and only 3-in-1 EDA product featuring
an integrated emulator, co-verification and simulation accelerator
within one "universal" EDA platform. COMULATOR(TM) may be used with
all HDL simulators, all languages (VERILOG, VHDL, C, and others) and
on all platforms (UNIX, LINUX, NT).
COMULATOR(TM) has been designed for network operation, supporting
team-design verification and resource sharing, and offers enhanced
productivity and superior value.
COMULATOR(TM) processor emulation performance is 100k cps to 100
MEGA cps, up to 1 millionX over simulation of microprocessor
operations, and offers the fastest co-verification on the market at
1,000X over C models. COMULATOR(TM) can be immediately added to

Each COMULATOR(TM) N2.1 station includes one EMA (Emulator for
Multiple Applications) reconfigurable prototyping board, one HES 2.0
hardware accelerator, and DVM 2.1 (Design Verification Manager)
application and interface. COMULATOR(TM) hardware and software may
reside within the user's HDL software simulation server or any UNIX,
LINUX or WIN-based COMULATOR(TM) station.
EMA boards for emulation are easily reprogrammable without JTAG
and can be reused from project to project. These boards offer the
maximum memory, advanced debug, and clock support for the most complex
SoC and ASIC designs. Reconfigurable EMA boards enable the users to
verify and design at real-hardware speeds through a combination of
emulation, co-verification and simulation approaches.
Since COMULATOR(TM) has all popular interfaces and drivers, it
allows smooth switching to new O/S and design flows.
